For more than eight (8) years he has been working and developing agribusiness and entrepreneurship carrier as a consultant, author, manager, facilitator and trainer in entrepreneurship and agribusiness activities. He is the trained Agricultural Economist and Agribusiness expert, holder of a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) in Morogoro-Tanzania.
With more than 30,000 followers, Mr. Philipo Fahamuel Mrutu is leading a multi-agribusiness and youth led 100% Tanzanian company envisioned “to be the leading agri-business development and Consultancy Company promoting sustainable agri-businesses and entrepreneurship activities for improving livelihood of agriculture value chain actors”,
MRUTU AGRO-SOLUTIONS COMPANY LIMITED is registered for Agro Consultancy activities, Wholesale of Agro-products, Retail trade of Agro-Products, Other Business Support activities, Support activities for crop production, Support activities for Animal production, Supplying Agro-Materials, Greenhouse Constructions, Processing Agro-Products for Marketing, Seedlings and Seeds Supplying activities, Soil Testing and farm preparations activities, Construction of Irrigation systems, Construction of fishponds and providing other services for providing the ultimate and classic agribusiness solutions for sustainable development endeavors with the mission of “satisfying and exceeding our customers’ expectations by providing them ultimate agribusiness solutions with passion, innovations and advanced technology”.
He is a founder board member of Tanzania Pan African Investors Association. Also he is a founder member and consultant of Amani Amcos Ltd. In 2015 became a president of the United Nations Chapter of Sokoine University in Agriculture. More-over he is linking farmers with the market through 'Outgrower schemes’ and online for startup and poorest farmer groups to acquire capital and other needs for scaling up their businesses and currently he is leading a team of people for registering Kilimo na Ujasiriamali SACCOS for providing financial solutions through saving, credit, and investments purposes. In 2017 he published the book titled “Kilimo Biashara na Ujasiriamali” which reached thousands clients. He is very passionate about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), for example in 2019 facilitated training of youth on greenhouse farming through the project that was sponsored by the United Republic of Tanzania through the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
