Robert Chacha Maboto

Hon. Robert Chacha Maboto (Mb)

He is the owner and founder of Maboto Microfinance Limited. He was born in Musoma Mara Region by a Herder father. He schooled in Muhoji Public School Musoma Village Mara and worked with his father in his herding business.

His entrepreneurial skills came up when he was working at his fathers Business in Musoma Mara. He went further to start his first Business of Food crops trading in Mara Region. In 1996, he started his wholesale business which was followed by establishment of the Maboto Microfinance Limited in 2003.

He is also serving as a member of Parliament since 2020 to date.
