Sameer draws his experience in Telecom from having worked for 2 of the leading Mobile Network Operators in Tanzania. This experience was key for the launch of Selcom Tanzania and for the past 16 years he has worked to forge the company into the leading payment service provider in Tanzania and growing into the rest of Africa. Since its establishment, Selcom under his stewardship have established extensive partnerships with MNO's, banks and financial institutions and merchants to become one of the most relied upon Payment Services Provider.
Sameer currently serves as the Executive Director for Selcom Tanzania, with key focus in growing the business regionally, locally and internationally. Sameer has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and is a member of the Tanzanian Association of Consulting Engineers.
