Gorich Travel Agency Ltd is predominantly an” INTEGRATED AGRIBUSINESS”, with an annual turnover of Tsh—400,100,000 in 2024.

The company focuses on poultry table egg farming production. Currently, the company manages over 4,000 egg-laying chickens across 320 potentially surveyed urban farmland acres.

The company is owned by Tariq Said Mchibya and Eric Mmanwa Lugusha, and is strategically positioned to serve both local and regional markets.

In phase 1 of the project, the business has built modern poultry facilities, including organic egg-laying chicken-rearing units. We intend to expand operations to increase table egg production from 4,000 eggs per day to 1 million per day for both local and international markets.

Annual growth in livestock and crop production is projected at over 5%, driven by rising market demand for eggs. The company’s brand, GORICH, is gradually gaining recognition for quality and reliability across Tanzania, particularly in the Tanga region.

The company's mission is to provide a high-quality, safe, affordable, and sustainable supply of table eggs that meet the nutritional needs of local and international households, institutions, and businesses, while promoting sustainable and efficient poultry farming practices.

Gorich's vision is to become the leading egg producer and supplier in Africa, recognized for excellence, reliability, and innovation in production, setting new standards for quality. This will be achieved through strategic vision and scale-up operations, reaching 1,000,000 layers in phase two by 2026 to 2027, and ultimately 4,000,000 layers by 2030. This phased expansion will strengthen economies of scale, ensure reliable market supply, and position Gorich as a leading player in both national and international poultry markets

In this phase 2 of the project, the company aims to raise TZS 15,756,000,000 through a bond listing with a four-year term and a six-month grace period. The funds will be allocated as follows:

 TZS 756,000,000 for the construction of 500 modern chicken houses valued at TZS 15 million each

 TZS 15,000,000,000 as working capital to operate the farm and buy layers' feeds, Day Old chicks (DOC), likely in the expansion of poultry farming to 1,000,000 chickens.

The capital raised through our bonds will be used to expand production capacity to phase 2 of having 1 million chickens at the farm, improve operational efficiency, and expand market reach. Expected benefits include increased revenue, consistent supply of Table eggs products, and profitability, positioning Gorich Travel Agency Ltd as a leading agribusiness in Tanzania and East Africa. The company is committed to sustainable farming practices, quality assurance, food security, and job creation in the region.
