Monica has a proven track record of managing organizations and growing businesses. She is a finance executive with 19 years of management experience in the industries of healthcare and telecommunication, in addition to extensive knowledge in sales and general management and business solutions. She is currently serving as CEO of Mokasi Medical Systems – Philips Representative in Tanzania, responsible with the overall management of the company providing strategic leadership and as well as serving as the market leader for Philips Medical Equipment and Solutions.
In pursuit of fulfilling her passion for adding value to the financial sector, she established Monfinance Investment Group which focuses on providing business and financial advisory services to women SMEs.
Previously, she worked for Maktech & Tel, a telecom and ICT focused company specializing in providing telecommunication contracting services, represented in Tanzania, Kenya and Mozambique. She managed the corporate, business development, administration and financial systems of the group.
Monica holds an MSc in finance from University of Strathclyde UK, a post graduate diploma in financial management and an advanced diploma in accounting. She is an alumni of Harvard Business School’s women and power-leadership in a new world program and has been trained in financial inclusion and restructuring – a CFO summit USA program.
