Josephat Kweka is Lead Consultant and CEO at Talanta International and Senior Research Associate at the Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF). He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Nottingham, a Master's and a Bachelor of Arts (Econ) from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is also a Research Fellow at ESRF, where he researches on trade, regional integration issues, and Private Sector Development. He is a nominated member of the Task Force for the implementation of the familiar ILO’s globalization project for Tanzania and a member of the steering committee on SME development for the Ministry of Industry and Trade. His research interests lie in the area of development economics, mainly trade and regional integration, tourism economics, and the public sector.
